February 3, 2018 @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm$10 – $30
This classic New Zealand movie is coming to Pahiatua to help fundraise for the Tararua RDA group.
What is the Tararua RDA???
Tararua RDA Inc. is a member group of The New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association. We are a volunteer, not for profit organisation providing equine experiences for people with a range of disabilities and needs who may benefit from our unique programme. Our “Time to Ride” programe is based at our awesome facility on Carisbrook Road in Mangatainoka. Our riding/programe days are Wednesday and Thursday mornings 9am – 1pm during school term times. The programe is supported by our wonderful team of local people who volunteer their time to provide this unique equine experience of “Horses helping people”. We believe our equine friends have unique abilities to offer people. From earning trust, gaining motivation, increasing mobility and independence to raising self esteem. Horses are warm, non-judgemental and trusting.
So lets get a heap of people together and help this fantastic and amazing cause.
The outdoor drive in movie will be held at the iconic Mangatainoka Rugby Grounds (famous for the Tui Brewery ads), and gates are opening at 7pm, with the movie starting at 830pm.
Come along to the outdoor drive in movies, park your car, and listen in on the car stereo to the New Zealand smash hit movie,
A national manhunt is ordered for a rebellious kid and his foster uncle who go missing in the wild New Zealand bush. (Rated PG)
A massive shout out and thanks must go to the sponsors of this event.
This is an alcohol free event.
